Okay, so I ate a little more than usual over the holiday, I am back and motivated to continue my quest for healthier living.  Have been at the gym and will continue before all the New Year’s resolutioners appear in January.  Join me.

Low calorie day!

Today I have had a bowl of homemade chili and a celery stick.  Not sure what else will happen with food today.  Tommorrow I get a hamburger though.  This diet stuff is hard, but going to exercise later today.  Yay me.

25 lbs to lose, starting? Now

I have procrastinated long enough.  I am counting calories and going to the gym.  Hope you will join me in my journey.

Best New Motivational Book? Ultra Fat to Ultra Fit

Check out this book and then we can discuss it more.  I read this and it is new on amazon.com (and other sites).  It is the true story of a scientist/author, Noah Walton,  who goes from obese college student to competitive athlete (eventually).  The author tells using research why diets don’t work for most people.  He used a unique method for his success.  Besides all that it is a very funny book, I laughed out loud in spots.   Teens to adults will love it.
